Bare roots
 
The Vanda Sunset Glow is a breathtaking hybrid prized for its 8-10cm flowers that perfectly capture a tropical sunset, blending orange, pink, and coral tones. This large, vigorous grower (40-60cm) thrives in warm, humid conditions (24-32°C days, 60-80% humidity) and should be grown bare-root in baskets or mounted to accommodate its extensive aerial root system. Water daily in summer with a thorough soak, allowing roots to dry completely between waterings. Provide bright light (4,000-6,000 lux) with some morning sun to intensify its spectacular colouration. While uncommon in chain stores, its stunning appearance and sweet fragrance make it a coveted centrepiece for experienced growers with appropriate space and climate control.
