I recently purchased a Platycerium 'Mt Lewis x hillii Trident' from the Dark Orchid website, and I couldn't be happier. Purchased my first orchid from the site. Disappointed as the indicator that the leaves were damaged was almost undetectable on the website, and not noted on the main product description page when opened at all? Also on its side when delivered.

I've bought from here four times and bought various cattleyas and jewel orchids. They have all been well sized and priced plants. One of the cattleyas flowered within the next year of purchase and none of the plants seemed set back at all. Postage is a very reasonable price and quick. I have also had issues with one order having signs of spider mites, however for this order, I was offered a refund for and I believe these are only due to recent contact with other plants, as they assured me they treat their plants with insecticides. I am so satisfied with all my orders from here and cannot recommend them enough. Their customer service is very good. I only wish they had more orchids for me to buy!

First time buying from dark orchid treated myself to 3 lovely orchids! Lovely size and lovely condition definitely be ordering again! Also the help I have received about orchids has been absolutely top tier!!

Dan a fine example of what a Boss and advisor should be. And I'm sure is staff are to.
In my case he delivered a rare orchid that was the picture of health to my door.
He sames to have a passion, what do I mean?. He motivated me with his professional advise, I knew I would succeed in raring this stunningly beautiful orchid.
Although alittle late, I would have no hesitation recommending Black orchid and theire beautiful world of orchids.
I'll be back on the 13/03/2024 to buy at least one more

This is the third orchid I have purchased from The Dark Orchid and just like the others, it is fantastic. It was well packed, arrived without delay after the cold weather, and is a healthy looking plant. I love the label they come with and considering some for my other orchids. The Dark Orchid will always be one of the few places I go to buy orchids.

I ordered a jewel orchid recently from The Dark Orchid. For some reason the shipping company was faffing about for days and we had a cold snap too. I emailed with my concerns and had a VERY helpful reply to let them know exactly how the plant arrived and send pictures if there were any problems. Well, she arrived beautiful and in perfect health! Amazing packaging, a sign AND sticker, and a healthy happy orchid. I could not recommend them highly enough. Thank you, I shall definitely be back for more x

After struggling to get my hands on a Dossinia Marmorata for a long time the Dark Orchid pulled through! Beautiful specimen looking forward to it settling into the terrarium. Will be ordering from them again!

I am very pleased with the three orchids that I have just ordered. The courier service delivered them carefully. They are packaged beautifully and are in excellent condition with good roots, one with two spikes. I have used The Dark Orchid before and so the surprise of beautiful labels and stickers etc. was not as great. However, the attention to detail is really appreciated.

My plants arrived so securely packaged, when I said how excited I was to the courier he gave them a little shake and passed them over upside down! Inside, not a petal out of place, or a nick on a leaf. Amazing.

I found this website by chance and my whole shopping experience has been BRILLIANT. There was great customer support with the questions that I had (as I was buying a gift for someone in the UK and I live in NZ) and I was given good advice for which orchid to buy. My first Leptotoe Bicolour arived very quickly and has very nice root system developed! Well had very nice root system! Couldn't resist to mount this beauty on a piece of Oak bark found in the woods nearby. Very pleased with this purchase.

I love orchids, the Cattleya is my favourite and I have never been able to find any in the UK. I got myself this beauty as a birthday gift, it quickly arrived in beautiful packaging and in lovely condition. Very excited to see it bloom and will absolutely order more!
