Orchid not in bloom.
Plant in 1.7" pot
The Angraecum magdalenae × sib is a sibling cross of the species famously known as the 'Queen of the Angraecums', a spectacular Madagascan orchid prized for its large 7.5-10cm pure white flowers with a dramatic 10cm spur and intoxicating evening fragrance . This intermediate-level orchid requires patience above all – it famously resents root disturbance, and repotting can delay flowering for 2-5 years . Provide very bright light (3,000-4,500 lux) – insufficient light is the most common reason for failure to bloom . Grow in a coarse, well-draining mix (fine bark, perlite, charcoal and sphagnum) using shallow pots or baskets, and maintain 75-80% humidity with excellent air circulation . Summer temperatures should reach 23-25°C (73-77°F) days with cool 13-14°C (55-57°F) nights – a significant day-night温差 is essential for healthy growth . Winter brings cooler conditions (18-19°C / 64-66°F days, 7-8°C / 44-46°F nights) with reduced watering, though roots must never dry completely . The intoxicating fragrance emerges in the evening and carries into morning – a trait shared with its famous relative, Angraecum sesquipedale . While slow to establish, a happy, mature plant will reward with multiple inflorescences bearing 2-3 flowers each, making it a true collector's treasure
Adjust care practices as needed based on its individual response and the specific conditions in your growing environment.
