Orchid not in bloom.
Pot 2.5"
The Paph. primulinum × sib is a remarkable sibling cross of Sumatra's legendary sequential-blooming slipper orchid, producing 5-7cm lemon yellow flowers that emerge one-after-another on the same spike for 12-18 months. This intermediate-level orchid thrives in consistent 22-28°C (72-82°F) temperatures year-round with high humidity (70-85%) - making it perfect for terrariums or humidity cabinets. Plant in a moisture-retentive sphagnum mix, watering with rainwater when the surface is slightly dry. Provide gentle east-facing light (1,200-1,800 lux) - the leaves should be medium green (dark leaves indicate insufficient light). Unlike most orchids, it never enters true dormancy, requiring year-round monthly fertilization at very dilute strengths. The flowers' faint citrus fragrance intensifies when grown with excellent air circulation and stable conditions.
These care guidelines are based on general information and may need adjustments based on your specific growing conditions and the needs of your individual plant.
