Orchid not in bloom.
The Phalaenopsis Lioulin Orange (peloric - 2 eyes) is a Taiwanese-bred marvel, producing 6-8cm vibrant orange flowers with a rare double-lipped mutation that creates mirror-image "eyes". This medium-sized orchid thrives in stable 18-26°C temperatures and medium light (1,500-2,500 lux), with its peloric flowers emerging in winter. The "two-eyed" peloria - where the lip duplicates instead of forming normally - makes this a trophy-status specimen for mutation enthusiasts. Grow in sphagnum or bark mix, watering only when roots turn silvery to maintain perfect form. While the mutation may appear inconsistently (sometimes producing normal flowers on the same spike), its limited mericlone availability and striking coloration command premium collector interest.
