The Phalaenopsis bellina f. coerulea × indigo is a rare blue-toned hybrid combining the legendary fragrance of P. bellina with unusual lavender-blue colouration. Thriving in constantly warm 24-30°C temperatures with high humidity (70-85%), this medium-sized orchid (20-30cm) benefits from terrarium cultivation or humidity-controlled environments. Its 5-7cm flowers emit an intense citrus-rose fragrance during daytime hours, with blooms appearing sequentially through summer and autumn. The "coerulea" (blue) form is particularly sought-after by collectors for its unusual colour genetics. Grow in sphagnum moss under medium indirect light (1,500-2,500 lux), watering before the medium fully dries to maintain plump, rounded leaves.
