Orchid not in bloom.

Pot 2.5"

The Phalaenopsis tetraspis 'Wisp' is a captivating compact orchid prized for its mottled silver-green foliage and unpredictably patterned flowers that change spotting with each bloom cycle. Native to tropical lowland forests, this beginner-friendly orchid thrives in consistent 22-30°C (72-86°F) temperatures with 50-70% humidity - making it ideal for windowsill growing. Unlike standard phals, its 4-5cm white flowers develop new red spotting patterns on each successive bloom, creating ever-changing displays from spring through fall. Grow in clear pots with sphagnum or bark to accommodate its photosynthetic roots, watering when roots turn silvery (typically weekly). Provide east-facing light (1,000-1,500 lux) to maintain the leaves' beautiful mottling without risk of burn. While adaptable to terrariums, it flourishes in normal household conditions with minimal fuss.
