It belongs to the Polychilos subgenus — sometimes called "summer-blooming phals" — which have slightly different care needs than standard Phalaenopsis, preferring warm 18–24°C conditions and bright indirect light . The '335' clone is a selected cultivar available through specialist nurseries, often as bare-root imports from Taiwan . Grow in moss or bark, allowing the medium to dry between waterings, and maintain moderate to high humidity with good air circulation .
