The Phalaenopsis bellina var. pink 'Fire' is an extraordinarily rare colour form of Borneo's iconic bellina, producing 5-6cm vibrantly pink flowers with intense citrus-rose fragrance. Thriving in steamy lowland conditions (24-32°C) with high humidity (70-85%), this medium-sized orchid demands consistent moisture in sphagnum or bark media. The 'Fire' clone is particularly prized for its saturated magenta veining and daytime fragrance that intensifies under proper care. While few authentic clones exist (trophy-status), its compact 20-30cm size makes it suitable for orchidariums. Provide dappled light (1,200-2,000 lux) and excellent air movement to prevent leaf issues while encouraging the characteristic red leaf flushing in bright conditions.
