The Vanda Charm Blue Star is a striking Thai hybrid valued for its 8-10cm violet-blue flowers with intricate darker tessellation. It's not difficult to keep alive, but success requires very bright light and daily watering — which is why we call it intermediate. Grow bare-root in slatted baskets to allow its thick aerial roots to breathe, watering each morning and letting roots dry by evening. Provide bright light (5,000-7,000 lux) — morning sun is ideal — and maintain 24-32°C temperatures year-round. While uncommon in general markets, its vivid blue flowers make it a standout for growers ready for a more hands-on orchid.
