The Vanda Pachara Delight 'Blue' is a premium Thai hybrid prized for its 8-10cm violet-blue flowers with intricate darker tessellations and delicate fragrance. Thriving in warm 24-32°C temperatures and high humidity (70-80%), this large orchid (50-70cm) performs best when grown bare-root in hanging baskets to accommodate its extensive aerial roots. Provide very bright light (4,000-6,000 lux) with direct morning sun to enhance the blue colouration. Part of the esteemed Pachara hybrid series, it often blooms twice yearly in spring and autumn when given proper care. While rare in general cultivation, its striking colour and reliable flowering make it a coveted specimen for Vanda enthusiasts. Water daily during active growth, ensuring roots dry between soakings.
