The Ctna. Why Not 'Yellow Kitty' is a vibrant intergeneric hybrid combining Cattleya and Broughtonia traits, producing 5-7cm sunshine-yellow flowers with striking red lip markings. Perfect for small spaces, this compact orchid (15-25cm) thrives in bright conditions (3,000-4,500 lux) and warm 24-30°C summer temperatures, blooming reliably when given slight winter drying. Grow in chunky bark mix with excellent drainage, watering when the medium is nearly dry. Its faint citrus fragrance and uncommon status make it a delightful choice for collectors, while the beginner-friendly "Why Not" hybrid series ensures success. The 'Yellow Kitty' clone is particularly prized for its saturated colour and free-flowering habit.
