The Cattleya forbesii 'Pink Sidelobe' × 'Bela Vista' combines two exceptional Brazilian clones, producing 8-10cm flowers with striking pale pink petals and deeper rose-pink sidelobes. Thriving in warm 24-30°C coastal conditions, this compact hybrid (20-30cm) inherits salt-tolerance from its wild ancestors, making it uniquely suited for seaside cultivation. Grow in chunky bark mix under bright light (3,000-4,500 lux), allowing the medium to dry slightly between waterings. The rare sibling cross showcases enhanced colour contrast from its 'Pink Sidelobe' parent and vigorous growth from 'Bela Vista', flowering reliably in late spring with a subtle citrus fragrance. Its uncommon status appeals to collectors seeking distinctive, environmentally-adapted Cattleyas.
