The Rlc. Hsinying Sunbeam 'Juliets' is a spectacular cattleya hybrid prized for its vibrant 12-15cm golden yellow blooms with striking red-striped lips and intense citrus fragrance. This intermediate-level orchid thrives in 24-30°C (75-86°F) summer temperatures with slightly cooler 18-22°C (64-72°F) nights, requiring a 5-8°C (9-14°F) temperature differential to initiate its stunning late spring blooms. Provide bright filtered light (3,500-4,500 lux) - ideal placement is an east-facing window where it receives 2-3 hours of morning sun. Grow in a chunky bark mix and water thoroughly when the medium is nearly dry, maintaining 50-70% humidity for optimal health. The flowers' citrusy scent intensifies when grown with excellent air circulation and proper light levels. While the blooms last 3-4 weeks, the plant itself makes a handsome specimen year-round with its 25-35cm pseudobulbs and glossy leaves.
