The Rlc. Chialin Victor is a premium Taiwanese-bred Cattleya hybrid producing 12-15cm vibrant magenta flowers with golden ruffled lips and an intoxicating vanilla-spice fragrance. Thriving in bright conditions (4,000-6,000 lux) and warm 24-30°C summer temperatures, this medium-large orchid (35-45cm) blooms spectacularly when given a slight winter cooldown (16-18°C nights). Grow in extra coarse bark mix to prevent root rot, allowing the medium to dry slightly between waterings. Its limited mericlone availability and award-winning parentage make it a coveted specimen for serious collectors. The flowers' rich coloration and strong midday fragrance peak when provided with excellent air circulation and consistent fertilisation during active growth.
