The Rct. Mikawa Crystal 'Rainbow Bridge' is an award-winning Japanese Cattleya alliance hybrid that won 1st place at the 2022 Shiga Orchid Festa . Registered in 2019 as a cross between Rct. Surprise Rainbow and Cattleya Penny Kuroda Gp , this cultivar produces exceptionally beautiful, large flowers. Like most Cattleya-type orchids, it is intermediate in difficulty because it needs bright light and a distinct wet/dry cycle. Grow in coarse, open medium with 70–80% humidity and good airflow . Plants are typically sold bare-root, which may require root regrowth and acclimatisation . Water 2–3 times weekly in summer and once every two weeks in winter
