Orchid not in bloom.

The Adenoncos parviflora is a rare miniature orchid from Southeast Asia with a surprising secret: its tiny 0.7cm flowers produce a strong, sweet fragrance that rivals much larger orchids . This monopodial species grows in hill forests at 300-1,300m elevation, naturally occurring across Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra . It's not difficult if you understand its needs: it requires mounting or very open baskets because its fleshy roots rot easily in standard pots . Provide bright indirect light (2,000-3,000 lux) and 60-80% humidity with excellent airflow . The winter blooms (December to February) make it a treasured addition to any collection, perfuming a room when most other orchids are dormant . While rare outside specialist nurseries, its incredible fragrance-to-size ratio makes it a must-have for fragrant orchid collectors.
