2.5" Pot Orchid not in bloom

The Cattleya Peckaviensis (also spelled Peckhaviensis) is a historic primary hybrid first created in 1910 from two classic Brazilian species, C. aclandiae and C. schilleriana . This compact beauty produces 6-8cm waxy flowers in earthy greens and browns with bold darker spotting and a striking magenta lip . The blooms carry a strong, spiced fragrance that perfumes the room . Rated intermediate primarily because it requires a winter dry rest (reduced watering and cooler temperatures for 6-8 weeks after flowering), it rewards growers with reliable spring blooms when this cycle is respected . Grow in very coarse bark in a slotted pot or mounted on cork, provide bright filtered light, and enjoy its charming "rambling" growth habit – a signature trait of its species parents .
