The Oncidium Jairak Fragrance 'Ruby Doll' is a premium Thai hybrid valued for its 2-3cm ruby-red flowers in abundant sprays and intense vanilla-cinnamon fragrance. Thriving in bright conditions (3,000-4,000 lux) and warm 24-30°C summer temperatures, this compact orchid (20-30cm) blooms reliably in autumn when given a slight winter cooldown (16-18°C nights). Grow in fine bark mix, watering when the medium is nearly dry to maintain perfect flower colour. The 'Jairak' name reflects its elite Thai breeding, with mature plants often producing multiple sprays per year. While uncommon outside specialist collections, its vibrant colours and daytime fragrance make it ideal for bright windowsills or conservatories.
