The Rhyncholaeliocattleya Village Chief Triumph is a prestigious Cattleya alliance hybrid producing 12-15cm richly coloured yellow flowers with a frilled pink lip. This medium-large orchid (30-50cm) thrives with seasonal variation: summer warmth (24-30°C) for growth and slightly cooler winter nights (15-18°C) to trigger its spectacular late spring blooms. Grow in chunky bark mix with excellent drainage, providing bright filtered light (3,500-5,000 lux) for optimal flowering. Its strong citrus-rose fragrance and limited commercial availability make it a prized specimen for serious collectors. Water thoroughly when the medium is nearly dry, and ensure good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
