Is a striking intergeneric hybrid combining with bold colours, producing 7-9cm maroon flowers with a crisp white lip. Thriving in intermediate 22-28°C temperatures, this medium-sized orchid (30-45cm) blooms in autumn-winter with an intense hyacinth-like fragrance that intensifies at dusk. Grow in a moisture-retentive bark/sphagnum mix, providing bright filtered light (3,000-4,500 lux) and consistent moisture without waterlogging. While uncommon in cultivation, its dramatic blooms and powerful scent make it a standout for collectors. The "B.G. White" parentage (Bollea gigantea alba) contributes both the white lip and winter blooming tendency.
